Announcement from Save the World Club

It is with regret that The Trustees have to announce that Save the World Club are no longer able to continue its mosaic activities due, in the main, to the lack of funding opportunities to enable the charity to continue this part of its offer.
Funding for the charity that has been secured so far this financial year and funding applications that are currently being considered all focus on our Young Place Shapers (YPS) which is a youth- led environmental stewardship resource for Kingston.  The programme aims to increase awareness, commitment and action on environmental and social sustainability issues in Kingston through enabling youth led volunteering and action.
The Trustees would now like to explore what opportunities there are to transfer the mosaic activity to another organisation.  Should no other charity or individual come forward with a suitable offer to manage these activities the charity will close down the service and dispose of the materials in the best way for the charity and give notice on its current premises.
All email proposals should be submitted by 7th May 2014 to Mary Graham:
Please ensure the proposals include a fully budgets business case detailing funding sources and show an ability to find an alternative venue for the mosaic work or proposal to negotiate a short term licence with the current landlords at Park Works.
