Led by Howard Grange and funded by Brent Council the project lasted for two weeks over the 2009 Easter holidays. The project took place in the Leap community Centre on Hazel Road, where we created lots of beautiful mosaics for the wall surrounding the Basketball Court.
Led by Kim Porrelli our new mosaic classes have been a huge success. Held in the Kingston Environment Centre the classes happen weekly in school term time. Anyone is welcome. If you are interested in joining, please call Kim on 07950 935226 or email her on kim.porrelli@blueyonder.co.uk

Study
of Edward Muybridge2004
Castle
Street, Kingston Town Centre
For
the centenary of Eadwearde Muybridge
we were asked to design a beautiful
mosaic in the centre of Kingston. In
true Save the World fashion it was based
on a design by the eleven year old Ellie
Felician who won a school wide design
competition.
The design was implemented by the Save
the World team led by Miriam Zadik Gold.
Again it was volunteers from the Kingston
community that got together under the
Welsh Hall roof to make a truly beautiful
mosaic. It can be seen in Castle Street,

During 2001/2002, The Save the World Club initiated
a process of building community support and awareness
of the problems of graffiti in Central Kingston.
Based on qualitative research that focused exclusively
on attitudes from children and youth using the
Elm Road Playground, the year long project was
completed on 8th September 2002.
