Catch of the Day

danielb172

We've been invited to attend the next Seething Sunday - the Freshwater Sardine Festival - on 5 May, taking place at Claremont Gardens, Surbiton.

The event is organised by the fantastic Community Brain - a not-for-profit set-up that uses arts, local history, social enterprise and community-led regeneration in order to give local areas a renewed sense of value and pride.

There will be plenty of live music to keep everyone entertained, delicious food and drink on offer and the highlight of the day will be a procession to the banks of the Thames where hopeful anglers will "attempt to catch" the first freshwater sardine of the season!

As always, we will be holding a stall selling quality second-hand goods: clothes, knick-knacks, costume jewellery and more.

The gathering is free to attend so please come along and visit us - it's going to be a day of food, fun, friends... and fish!
