March was an exciting month filled with engaging events, drawing in a total of 118 visitors who joined us throughout the month (and a little just before) to connect, learn, and explore new things.

Korean Cultural Event

On Feb 22nd, we had a wonderful time celebrating the Korean Cultural Event with the Korean Music Academy. Attendees immersed themselves in Korean culture through delicious food, hands-on crafts, and captivating performances. Guests came together to learn, experience and celebrate these traditions.

Participants had the chance to cook their own seafood pancakes and kimchi.

The celebration also featured traditional Korean calligraphy, performances by the Korean Music Academy.

"The Korean Cultural Event was a beautiful celebration of tradition, artistry, and community—where guests didn’t just observe culture, but experienced it first-hand through food, music, and creativity", shared an event attendee.

Taste of Japan

On March 8ths, we had an amazing time enjoying the Taste of Japan! Enthusiastic guests came together to learn and celebrate these traditions on this culture and cooking charity event. Attendees participated in cooking Sushi rolls, Onigiri, and Dorayaki. Also, they experienced themselves in writing Japanese calligraphy which was really engaging.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us—your energy made it unforgettable!

Ireland, St. Patrick’s Day

On March 17th, we had an amazing time celebrating St. Patrick's Day! Excited guests came together to learn about and celebrate these traditions in a cultural and cooking event. Attendees participated in cooking Irish food, including Soda Bread and Irish soups. "St. Patrick’s Day was a wonderful blend of culture and cuisine, where guests came together to learn, cook, and celebrate the rich traditions of Ireland", said an event guest.

Iftar Party

On March 15th, we hosted an Iftar Party where everyone enjoyed preparing dishes Including a curry and a chickpea garnish with volunteers. Participants brought dishes and desserts to break fast, such as lamb biryani, cucumber salad, samosas, grapes, and coconut-covered dates. They sat round the table and broke fast together around ten past 6 at sundown, enjoying hearty conversation and food together after. Staff in the warehouse at that time also tried their share of the cuisine and enjoyed it immensely. Many thanks to the community for bringing homemade dishes for a delicious feast to break their fast!

London Recycles’ “Repair Week”

We had a great time during the recent London Recycles’ “Repair Week” with a number of visits by many new faces to our open day and noticed an increase of items being left with us for repair following it.

We have another Revive-all electrical repair café open day tentatively planned for Saturday May 24th, more on this to come as we get it.

Thank you to everyone who joined us!
