We've been invited to attend an event taking place at the Hawker Centre in Kingston on Saturday 23rd March - based on the Holi festival in Indian culture - by Namaste Kingston, a not-for-profit organization located in the borough.
The charity's vision is to create a friendly, welcoming space where Indian diaspora can come together to celebrate their culture and support local initiatives. Through their events and activities, they aim to promote cultural understanding and integration while engaging with local communities.
There will be a number of stalls selling a variety of goods, music from DJ Kunal and complimentary Thandai - a traditional Indian beverage. It's bound to be a fantastic celebration of the "Festival of Colours" - so please come along!
